Non-resident tax advice
the rules determining if someone is a UK tax resident or not are extremely complex. In addition you have more rules to determine if a year can be split into being a period of UK tax residency and a period of non UK tax residency. This is where a specialist non-resident tax adviser comes in.
if you live outside of the UK, but have investment properties in the UK, then you will most likely need to file a UK self assessment tax return. The non-resident tax advisers I work with will be able to prepare your return and advise you on what tax reliefs you can claim.
